About NBCC

We are a congregation overcome by the love of Christ. Our hope is to glorify Him and further His Kingdom in all we do. Through proclaiming God's Word, gathering with His people, worshipping, praying, repenting, baptizing, partaking in the Lord's Supper, and living sacrificially with those inside and outside the church, we trust that God's Kingdom will come, His will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.

We desire to encourage individuals and families in a personal encounter and ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We’re excited about loving God and loving people. You’re invited to come and get to know us!

This church is affiliated with Converge Northwest. We recognize the importance of being under the covering of a denomination as well as being accountable to uphold the essential teachings of the Bible.

  • We believe that there is one true God who exists in the three Persons of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the Bible as the inspired, unerring and authoritative Word of God upon which we base our lives to do the will of God.
  • We believe that all people have original sin and therefore need a Savior.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second Person of the Trinity, Who came to earth through virgin birth to fulfill the mission of redeeming all who would believe in Him in faith and follow Him in obedience.
  • We believe that Jesus was crucified and buried, but that He physically arose from the dead. He later ascended back to heaven after 40 days of proving to His followers that He was alive.
  • We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ composed of believers who are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. The Holy Spirit still continues to work in Christ’s followers to expand His Kingdom.
  • We believe in the sacraments of The Lord’s Supper and Believer’s Baptism, whereby we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As a community of faith in Jesus Christ, who uphold the authority of the Bible and its inerrant teachings, we value:

WorshipWe love God and are committed to seeking Him by entering into genuine worship that will glorify Him. We believe that worship is a lifestyle and extends beyond our gatherings into our daily lives.
CommunityWe value authentic relationships within the family, church and community. We desire to love, accept and forgive in all relationships.
Spiritual GrowthWe care about people and want to encourage those of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ and come to an understanding of His love. Our desire is to see lives changed and transformed because of a growing relationship with Jesus.
StewardshipWe acknowledge that stewardship of time, talents and treasures is our privilege and responsibility. God calls us to use our gifts for the strengthening of His Kingdom.
OutreachWe commit to loving God and loving others through local compassion ministries and global missions.
